About Stronger Communities for Children

Stronger Communities for Children (SCfC) is a place‑based, community‑led program supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and families in the Northern Territory.

The program works in selected communities to strengthen local services and is based on the principle that local communities are best placed to determine what children and families need to thrive. Through strong local governance, communities set a shared vision and priorities for children, and guide coordinated activities that respond to local strengths, challenges and aspirations.
