Maningrida

Maningrida is a large remote Aboriginal community on the north coast of Arnhem Land, servicing many surrounding homelands. The community has a population of over 2,500 people and is home to a diverse range of language and clan groups.

Maningrida joined the SCfC program in 2015. SCfC in Maningrida is guided by the Nja‑marleya Cultural Leaders and Justice Group Board, which serves as the SCfC Local Community Board. The Nja‑marleya Cultural Leaders and Justice Group is the Facilitating Partner and leads SCfC implementation in line with community priorities.
