Lajamanu

Lajamanu is a remote Aboriginal community located north‑west of Tennant Creek on Gurindji Country. The community has a population of over 700 people and strong cultural, linguistic and ceremonial traditions.

Lajamanu joined the SCfC program in 2015. SCfC is guided locally by Jaru Jinta, the SCfC Local Community Board. Yandamah Indigenous Corporation is the Facilitating Partner and works with the board and community to deliver SCfC in line with local priorities.
