Gunbalanya

Gunbalanya is a remote Aboriginal community in West Arnhem Land, located near the eastern border of Kakadu National Park. The community has a population of around 1,100 people and strong cultural leadership and connections to surrounding homelands.

Gunbalanya joined the SCfC program in 2015. SCfC is guided locally by Karrimud Rowk, the SCfC Local Community Board. Adjumarllarl Aboriginal Corporation is the Facilitating Partner and works with the board and community to implement the SCfC Community Plan.
